Part of the Green Project, a

arts, and creative writing, to students from public, private, and
parochial schools across Louisiana. NOCCA showcases their student's

The
HDLC is the City's regulatory
agency for local historic districts outside of the Vieux Carré.
Rules which affect the external property of
any building in the Marigny are available from this agency. Permits can
be applied for in person, and violations can be reported to them
directly.
The
PRC website maintains a very inclusive lists for links
relevant to the historic home owner. They promote preservation of New Orleans'
architecture and neighborhoods and host homebuyer training classes.
Each
state has a historic preservation office which is responsible for
nominating buildings, sites, districts, etc. to the National Register of Historic Places. In
Louisiana this office is administered by the Division of Historic
Preservation, which is part of the Office of Cultural Development,
Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism.
